The Sacral Chakra Sacral Chakra Second Chakra or the Swadhisthana Chakra is orange in color. This is the sacral chakra located in the middle of the abdomen. This is where your sexuality and emotions originate. We are connected to others through feelings, desire, sensation and movement. Ideally this chakra brings us fluidity and grace. Gives depth to our emotions and sexual fulfillment. This is the ability to be flexible and accept change. Celibacy is emphasized with the growth of this chakra. In order to raise transmute this powerful sexual energy to the brain causing an increase in higher consciousness the basic principle of no sex must be adhered to. This is why so many religions require their religious leaders to refrain from sex. If the person is developed then higher consciousness is gained, if the individual is not ready then psychological imbalance can occur. In the unification process the individual will freely not have sex in-order-to complete the process.Once the process is completed a normal satisfaction of physical needs can be reintroduced with the right partner. The intensity and level of energy will be increased in the enlightened soul.
